Music fan Carl Nakamura congratulated Chinese erhu virtuoso Tsun-Hui Hung after her performance as a special guest at Hawaii Pacific University’s 14th Annual Spring Concert on April 22 in Saint Andrew’s Cathedral. Hung joined the HPU Symphony to play Chinese composer Houyuan Hu’s “Red Plum Capriccio.” She followed it with a solo rendition of the Chinese tune “Singing Birds” as her encore.
