Walmart is seeking to hire 125 temporary workers for stores in Kunia and Hilo on Hawaii island.
The big-box retail giant is preparing to remodel the stores in the summer and has 55 temporary positions open for the Kunia location and 70 for the Hilo Walmart to assist with the changes.
Duties will include dismantling fixtures and displays, stocking merchandise, setting up product displays and cleaning departments in remodeled areas.
The Kunia project is scheduled to run between late May and mid-August, while the Hilo project is planned for late June until mid-October.
Starting pay for the temporary positions will be more than $11 per hour. Those interested can apply at any Walmart in-store hiring kiosk or online at walmart.com.
