City agrees to $80,000 to settle gay women’s suit

    Honolulu will pay $80,000 to settle a lesbian couple’s lawsuit alleging a police officer wrongfully arrested them after seeing them kissing in a grocery store. The settlement was announced Friday in federal court in Honolulu. Courtney Wilson, left, and Taylor Guerrero, photographed in Hawaii, were visiting from Los Angeles last year when they were arrested.
