Waffles and wishes will make a perfect pairing at a fundraiser for Make-A-Wish Hawaii on June 26. Add bloody marys and you’re looking at a mighty fine morning in support of a good cause.

The second annual Waffles for Wishes event brings together restaurants such as Bellini Bistro, Koa Cafe, MW Restaurant and Square Barrels, presenting brunch classics, with waffles only the beginning. Ocean vodka will host a bloody mary bar.

The event, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Ward Village IBM Courtyard, 1240 Ala Moana Blvd, is sponsored by the Make-A-Wish Hawaii Young Leaders Board, a group that supports the charity’s wish-granting efforts on behalf of critically ill children.
