    The owner of Honolulu’s historic former Kaiser Estate plans to spend $16 million improving the property by renovating two homes on the site and adding a new 20,000-square-foot home, two new pools and other work including new landscaping and repairs to the estate’s existing harbor.

The owner of a run-down Honolulu estate once considered the largest private residence in America is seeking the city’s OK to restore and enhance the property as a family compound with three mansions and a private harbor. Read more
