2 sailors laid to rest in the hulk of the Arizona

    The Pearl Harbor Survivors Association hat that belonged to Clarendon Hetrick rested upon the lap of his granddaughter, Alicia, during a press conference after his urn was placed in the battleship on Wednesday. “He wore it anytime he had a chance to” Alicia Hetrick said.

John Anderson and his twin brother Delbert “Jake” Anderson were both sailors aboard the USS Arizona when the mighty battleship succumbed to heavy fire on Dec. 7, 1941. Read more
