Kevin Ralbovsky is offering a group lesson for adults Saturday from 4-5:30 p.m. Ralbovsky, Hawaii’s No. 1 teacher in Golf Digest’s 2015-16 ranking, will hold the lesson at his KMR School of Golf Teaching Deck at Ko‘olau Golf Club.

All skill levels are welcome and cost is $40. Clubs and refreshments will be available. Twelve spots are available.

Women’s Army Invitational set for March

The revamped version of the Women’s Army Invitational returns March 28-29 at Leilehua Golf Course.

The inaugural event was played from 1957 to 1985. Champions included Hawaii Golf Hall of Famers Hope Yee, Joan Damon, Bev Kim, Marga Stubblefield, Lenore Muraoka and Edna Jackola — who won eight times.

After a 30-year break, the tournament came back in 2014, with Brittany Fan winning. Jeannie Pak has won the past two years.

First Tee hosts fundraiser

First Tee of Hawaii will be hosting its second fundraiser to re-start and re-establish the First Tee Hawaii Chapter, which supports more than 700 junior golfers on Oahu, Maui and West Hawaii.

The First Tee of Hawaii Shootout starts March 28 with a Casino Night Pro-Am Draw Party, from 7-10 p.m. at Dave & Buster’s. The Pro-Am golf tournament is the following day at Hoakalei Country Club, with a 12:30 p.m. shotgun start.

First Tee Hawaii is now under the newly formed Hawaii Youth Golf Association, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. It plans to launch programs again this summer.
