The woman who died after exiting a van in which she was riding in Makiki has been identified as Kerlin Bossy of Honolulu, the Honolulu Medical Examiner said.
Bossy, 20, exited the side door of the van near the intersection of Pensacola and King streets at about 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, police said. Police said a 26-year-old woman was driving the van.
Bossy was taken by Honolulu Emergency Medical Services to a hospital, where she died.
The medical examiner said it is deferring making a determination of the cause of death.
