Right at home in North Island

A group of Hawaii visitors to New Zealand spotted the Aloha Seaview Resort Motel sign in the waterfront town of Paihia in the Bay of Islands, North Island, last month on Valentine’s Day. David Mougin, seated in front, said the couples found many similarities between the Maori and Hawaiian cultures and languages.
