A 19-year-old man who died after another man stabbed him in Honolulu has been identified as Jeremy Kinon.
The Honolulu Medical Examiner’s Office conducted an autopsy Tuesday to determine the exact cause of death, but the cause was not released.
A.J. Achuo of Waipahu was charged Sunday with second-degree murder in connection with Kinon’s death.
He is being held in lieu of $1 million bail and is scheduled to appear today at
Honolulu District Court.
The fatal stabbing occurred at about 1:20 a.m. Saturday. Police said Achuo and Kinon, of Honolulu, were involved in an altercation at 729 Kinau St. when Achuo allegedly stabbed him with a dangerous instrument.
Police arrested Achuo at the scene.
Emergency Medical Serv-ices transported Kinon in critical condition to a trauma hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Paramedics also took a second man, described to be in his 20s, in serious condition to a hospital.
