Hawaii south of the border

Art Whistler of Manoa found a sign of island life at the Hawaii Hotel in Manzanillo, Mexico, on March 14. Curiously, the tropical bird pictured on the sign, the toucan, is not found in Hawaii, but is native to southern Mexico.
