Man charged in alleged Waikele knife threat

A 28-year-0ld man has been charged with terroristic threatening after he allegedly lunged at another man with a knife in the Waikele area.

Maverick M. Que was charged with first-degree terroristic threatening and is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Police said Que held a knife and lunged toward a 50-year-old man Sunday afternoon. The victim ran away and called police.

Police located Que at Waikele Premium Outlets on Lumiana Street just after 1:25 p.m. and arrested him.

He has a criminal record of criminal trespassing, unauthorized entry of a motor vehicle, criminal property damage and driving without a license.
