An earthquake with a magnitude of 4 struck northeast of Kaneohe on Friday night.
The U.S. Geological Survey said the quake was centered 21 miles northeast of Marine Corps Base Hawaii at Kaneohe Bay at a depth of about 8 miles. It occurred at about 8:40 p.m.
This quake appears to be linked to the Molokai Fracture Zone, a seabed feature that runs east-west.
