Robyn Ah Mow-Santos and the University of Hawaii have concluded an agreement on a one-year extension to her contract as head coach of the Rainbow Wahine.
The reappointment agreement, which was finalized last week in advance of the Rainbow Wahine’s Aug. 24 opener against Gonzaga, takes her through March 13, 2021, according to the terms of the redacted contract.
Ah Mow-Santos received a three-year contract in succeeding Dave Shoji last year and guided UH to a 20-8 (14-2 conference) record in her inaugural season.
She received a raise earlier this year and is due a raise each year of the contract.
UH refused to make salary details available citing her status as a member of HGEA, but the listed base salary range for her position is $76,440-$143,472.
Ah Mow-Santos and Cal Poly’s Sam Crosson, who earned $129,960 in the Mustangs’ conference championship season of 2017, are believed to be the two highest paid women’s volleyball coaches in the Big West Conference.
