The Honolulu Museum of Art kicked off its annual celebration of Korean cinema on Sept. 1 at Doris Duke Theatre with an opening-night reception and screening of “Little Forest.”
A total of 12 feature films will run through Sept. 25. The movies are “Little Forest,” “The Age of Blood,” “Keys to the Heart,” “Hit the Night,” “Beautiful Vampire,” “Believer,” “The Accidental Detective,” “The Accidental Detective 2,” “Microhabitat,” “On the Beach at Night Alone,” “Claire’s Camera” and “The Day After.”
Kwon Sang Woo fans will be happy to see him in “The Accidental Detective” and its sequel, while fans of Lee Byung Hun can catch the actor in the comedy-drama “Keys to the Heart.”

“Let Me Introduce Her”
Episodes 17-18

Chan Ki and Soo Jin watch Eun Han like a hawk, in efforts to find the cellphone. Soo Jin deliberately puts Eun Han in situations similar to the past, hoping she’d leave on her own volition upon regaining her memory. Eun Han goes down to the basement to find her things, but as soon as she does, she’s engulfed with an ominous feeling.

Chan Ki and Kang Woo run into each other at Eun Han’s hospital room. Chan Ki threatens to take actions against Kang Woo for performing the surgery on Eun Han. Eun Han comes to Kang Woo in distress. She finds a letter at the studio she lived in before gaining her memory and is devastated.

Seo Ri finds a good place to live with the help of Hyun. Woo Jin wants to hold her back from leaving, but without a valid reason to, he feels disappointed. Someone recognizes Seo Ri at a festival workshop.

Woo Jin’s house is turned upside down with Hyun Jung’s sudden appearance. During the night, Woo Jin disappears without any notice. Seo Ri and the family are anxious and worried about Woo Jin’s whereabouts.

Sang Chul renews his resolve after So Eun rejects him. After going through challenging times, Kang Ho and So Eun get even closer. A shocking revelation throws everyone off-guard when a solid witness appears in court.

Kang Ho passes out from sleeping gas. Thinking Kang Ho is Soo Ho, Jae Hyung takes him to the one who wants to kill him, Woo Jung. En route to Woo Jung’s place, Jae Hyung realizes he’s being tailed and tries to lose it.

Gwang Jae gets a new part-time job. Myung Ha and Mong Mong finally get permission to get married. Gwang Jae and Young Ha start a new business. Won Yong looks around in hopes to find someone at Myung Ha’s wedding.

Bum Joon finds out that Tae Il is his son. Bok Soon wants Yong to marry Sun Young. Young Ha is upset at seeing Tae Il change. While working as a designated driver, Gwang Jae gets a fare that turns out to be his high school friend. Their treatment of him makes him realize how he’s been perceived by others.
