Auwe! For six long uphill miles, Willian Prange pushed his friend, Craig Eill, in a broken wheelchair from Waikiki Health Center to Manoa Valley District Park to take shelter from Tropical Storm Olivia’s wind and rain. Along the way, these homeless men were offered no other place to shorten the trek, no place to take quick refuge. But surely there must have been a closer stable for those who have the least and need the most care.
Let’s hope they keep the faith in us.
