I am a small-business owner who does printing for international and interstate customers. I compete mostly with companies out of Vancouver, Canada.
I use many types of paper, but mainly Kodak products. Kodak has been outsourcing to China since 2000. China is a big market for Kodak and it will not be moving factory jobs back to Rochester, N.Y., regardless of our president’s trade war.
In the meantime, I am paying a 25 percent tax on Kodak products because of President Donald Trump’s recent tariffs on China. This will add up to thousands of dollars not going into the local economy. My competitors in Canada pay no tariffs.
Thank you, Donald, for making Canada great again.
