Brett Kavanaugh’s lack of credibility and vitriolic partisan temperament are only going to exacerbate the low esteem many Americans have for our three branches of government.
Before two weeks ago, who knew what “boofing” meant? Kavanaugh knew and yet he lied under oath when he explained what it meant. Who knew there was another “Devil’s Triangle” than the one near Bermuda? Kava- naugh knew and he lied under oath when he said what it was. Who knew the “ralphing” Kavanaugh referred to had everything to do with alcohol and little if anything to do with his eating spicy foods? Kavanaugh knew but at best misled with his answer. Who knew what the “six Fs” (FFFFFF) refer to? Kavanaugh knew and yet he lied under oath when he said what they stood for.
Is it asking too much to expect aspiring Supreme Court justices to tell the truth after they have been sworn to do so?
