Under the banner, “One Job Should Be Enough,” the 2,700 striking hotel workers on Oahu and Maui are fighting and sacrificing for all those among us who must work two or three jobs to make ends meet.

While Marriott has raked in record profits and has benefited from President Donald Trump’s huge tax cuts, it has been stingy with its workers here and in cities around the U.S.

We should support these courageous striking hotel workers since their victory will benefit us all and help raise wages, benefits and living standards for the vast majority of our people.
