Hello! There would be no Aiea Town Center, or for that matter not much else around, if it were not for our veterans who went to war to defend our country (“State government, community in conflict over ex-sugar mill site,” Star-Advertiser, Oct. 22). Many serve multiple tours of duty.
Get real, people. Our vets need more than the mouthy, “thank you for your service.”
