I woke to hear that U.S. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell called this election “a knife fight in an alley.”

It took my breath away.

Our president calls the mainstream press “the enemy of the people” and downplays the heinous murder of a journalist. He “loves” strongmen who have controlled, mistreated, silenced and murdered their citizens. His provably inaccurate facts are laughable.

He is recorded saying he can do anything he wants to women, and trashed a female reporter under his breath to his chuckling male colleagues. His rants at rallies ridicule and incite violence against anyone who disagrees or questions him.

This while our schools are worried about bullying.

We have a bully-in-chief setting the standard. He is picking fights around the world, trashing environmental concerns and nuclear deterrents that affect the entire planet. America at its worst.

Vote to reclaim our democracy and decency.
