For more than 20 years, I have ridden buses running along Kapiolani Boulevard between Kalakaua Avenue and McCully Street. For more than 20 years, this five-block stretch of road has always been excessively damaging the buses with its severe bumps and holes.
These buses also include the more expensive “A” Express Route elongated buses.
The bumpy ride can give you a headache. Bus drivers know this well. Repairing and replacing these misused buses is a neglectful waste of government taxpayer money. As always, common sense should prevail.
