The national midterm election has been over for several weeks. The blue waves anticipated by the Democrats and the liberal media turned out to be a blue ripple.

That seems to have caused the “Trump derangement syndrome” to increase a few notches in intensity among the Dems and liberal media. Now there are threats to investigate a myriad of issues with the Trump White House.

What about our country? It faces so many problems. Health care reform, immigration reform, border security, opioid addiction, and so on. The list is long and seems to go on forever, yet there are solutions to many of these problems.

Why not channel our energies into addressing these problems? Why focus so much negative energy into attacking one man? In the words of one of our revered song, “Our country ’tis of thee, sweet land of liberty … let freedom ring.”

Let’s work toward building our country stronger so that liberty and freedom can resound loudly in our land.
