Our president has told us that selling weapons that kill people is more important to America than standing up for truth, justice and the morals of the world.
A journalist living in the U.S. is killed and apparently cut up into carry-on baggage-size pieces.
The CIA concluded Saudi Arabia’s crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman, ordered the killing.
Unfortunately this is just the latest, grossest version of a story that’s been going on for hundreds of years, at least. It’s called “business as usual.”
America, in the last 50 years I’ve been voting, has chosen jobs and “the economy” over protecting and caring for its people and the environment.
Hence, we are killing the world. Having lived in Hawaii for over 42 years, I have witnessed the same here.
Without clean air and water and fertile, rich soil, and people who care about ensuring this, we are either doomed or destined to live in artificial environments, with enough room in them for people who can afford to live there.
