A day or so before the Honolulu Marathon, I watched an “aloha moment” unfold across the street from my apartment. A lady who was walking her dog found herself in a swirly, rainy deluge. While waiting at the corner for the walk-don’t walk light, a car stopped a bit back from the corner. A young lady jumped out of the car and ran to give the lady an umbrella and then ran, now soaked herself, back to the car.
