I want to thank you for your very accurate reporting of the findings from our survey of Kailua residents for Alexander & Baldwin (“Kailua residents want A&B to keep Pali Lanes, survey finds,” Star-Advertiser, Dec. 19). These complete findings recently were mailed from A&B to all households in Kailua.

I believe it is important to emphasize this transparency, as it is rare for an organization to report back full (and sometimes sensitive) information from a survey to an entire community.

I think this speaks to their sincerity in building a better relationship with the residents of Kailua, and credit A&B for its willingness to share it all.
