Your newsworthy article regarding the Chinese-Americans from WW II to get congressional gold medal appears as a double- edged sword. While it is honorable to finally recognize these veterans, it expresses how discriminating America is.
From African slavery, to WWII Japanese-American soldiers being sent to the worst battles, to Hawaii having the highest Korean War casualties per capita, all this ndeed reflects discrimination by the leaders of our great country.
Thanks to the freedom of the press, the readers of our newspaper can learn to improve our lives where needed. Let our hindsight improve our insight as well as our foresight.
