In 220 B.C., the first emperor of China began work on a Great Wall to bar invaders. It eventually spanned most of the country. But the invaders got in anyway. All countries need to secure their borders, but in the 21st century their methods don’t have to be rooted in the distant past.
It’s time for Donald Trump loyalists (and Trump himself) to stop being so literal about “walls” and start embracing more modern and creative solutions. Chances are they can find something more effective and a heck of a lot less expensive.
