In reading Tuesday’s headlines (“City’s top civil attorney included in feds’ inquiry,” “Rail delays to cost $160M more,” Star-Advertiser, Jan. 15), it looks like Honolulu is vying with Chicago to be one of the most corrupt, if not the most corrupt, and unmanageable cities in the United States.
Looking more at the news — from private streets to the long-running Kealoha trial delays (if it was you or me we would be in jail by now), possible election wrongdoings, Ala Moana Park problems — I know there are many readers who can also contribute to what is wrong or have distaste for the city’s other misdeeds.
