It is beyond belief that our president is continuing his unconscionable government shutdown. We have hundreds of thousands of workers who have been affected along with their families, who are suffering with no income.
What with nine federal departments shuttered already and the fall-out mounting — trash and unsanitary conditions at our national parks, Coast Guard members being denied pay, compro- mised security at our airports, insufficient numbers of air traffic controllers, delays in government transactions, families unable to pay their bills, and those who found part-time jobs to help ends meet ordered to return to their jobs without pay.
