President Donald Trump may or may not have been working for Russia. However, many of his actions and policies have been in Moscow’s best interests.

Former presidents have at least tried to unite our country during their time in office. Trump’s tweets and statements have served to divide and polarize the American electorate even more.

Dividing Americans also has been a goal of the Russian interference in our elections. Russian President Vladimir Putin must be smiling more every day that Trump keeps the government shut down.
