SUPPLIES NEEDED:
>> Aqua Tube clear floral water tube from the floral department
>> 3-1/4-by-3-1/4-inch decorative printed paper
>> 3-1/2-by-12-inch cardstock in coordinating color
>> 3-1/2-by-1/2-inch strip of paper in accent color or print
>> Doublestick tape
>> Pen or flower to place in tube
>> Scissors
>> Ruler
>> Optional: ribbon, stickers, cut-outs for embellishments and paper scoring board
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Using the ruler, mark points lengthwise on the 12-inch strip of cardstock at the 2-1/2-inch, 6-inch and 9-1/2-inch points.
2. Fold cardstock at these measurements to create four sections. Crease well.
3. Tape the 3-1/4-by-3-1/4-inch decorative printed paper into the center of the second segment of cardstock.
4. Fold the cardstock in half on the center fold. Cut a half circle on the folded edge. This will create a circle hole for the tube to rest in.
5. Fold the four panels to form a triangle, with the two end sections overlapping each other. Tape in place.
6. Remove and discard the rubber cap on the tube. Place the tube in the cut-out circle. Add a bit of tape on the bottom if needed to keep the tube straight.
7. If desired, add embellishments (ribbon, stickers, cutouts, etc.) to the front panel. Place a pen or flower in the tube to finish. Give it as a gift or use it on your desk.
