I would like to express my support for Senate Bill 1152 and House Bill 681 to allow dogs in restaurants.

I’m shocked by the negative response to these bills. They do not force restaurants to accommodate dogs and they do not mean that ill-behaved dogs must be tolerated in restaurants.

It merely allows pet owners to enjoy a meal with their well-behaved loved ones in an establishment that chooses to welcome them. Dogs and humans have evolved together in a symbiotic relationship that enriches us all.
