The Kailua community needs to rally behind and save Pali Lanes. Pali Lanes has been a staple of the Kailua community since it opened its doors in March 1961. Since then, Pali Lanes has impacted the lives of everyone who has walked through its doors.
It has touched the lives of the youth who bowl in the junior leagues, the adults who bowl in their own leagues, and, most important, the kids and adults with disabilities who see Pali Lanes as a second home rather than just a bowling alley.
In November, Pali Lanes was declared a historic place by the Hawaii Historic Places Review Board.
There has been a big push by members of Our Kailua and team #SavePaliLanes to save the bowling alley. But now we truly need Kailua community to get behind the fight to save Pali Lanes.
