My advice for those seeking political office for the first time: Trace your steps from high school, college or business, and thoroughly check, double-check and triple-check to ensure that you have not made any kind of sexual advances toward women or applied blackface to assume a likeness of a black man for whatever reason. This for sure will get you in a heap of trouble and your political aspirations will come to an abrupt halt.

Do your homework to avoid public and/or family embarrassment.
