When I was in high school, some of the guys had so much pomade and grease on their hair that it stained their shirt collars. Some of them solved this problem by tucking a sheet of Kleenex between their necks and the shirt.
This might solve the problem for those who are afraid of having leis staining their shirts (“That’s not ring around the collar; that’s aloha,” Star-Advertiser, Lee Cataluna, Feb. 27).
They might also want to wear earplugs so they can’t hear people giggling and saying, “Look dat guy! He wen’ cut himself shaving or what?”
