Letter: It’s a gamble to trust unprincipled leaders
Conservative columnist Cal Thomas argued that solid policies can spring from personally flawed leaders (“Solid policies can spring from personally flawed leaders,” Star-Advertiser, March 5).
True, but does it make sense to put your fate in the hands of people who are demonstrably corrupt and unprincipled? It’s a shortsighted, selfish, high-stakes gamble — and odds are you will not be happy with where it ends up. Just ask Michael Cohen.
