There’s railing and railing against the rail, but this seemingly toxic juggernaut moves on relentlessly. As Lee Cataluna has rightly observed, clearly botched projects here take on an unstoppable life of their own (“Rail problems big enough to impress the big guys,” Star-Advertiser, March 31), which another writer laid to our sheep-like tendency to accept, accept, regardless. We don’t march in the streets here, usually, but this super shibai must be stopped. So to paraphrase Ronald Reagan: “Someone, please tear down that rail.”
