It is shortsighted and short-minded to want to stop the rail at Middle Street. That means job undone — incomplete.
The rail should be completed the entire 20-mile route to Ala Moana as originally intended.
But now John Henry Felix wants to disrupt the original plan, destroying all the hard work, time and study over the years (“To preserve Hawaii’s sense of place, stop rail at Middle Street,” Island Voices, Feb. 14). Follow through and get the job done for the purpose it was intended: 20 miles.
