Lee Cataluna hit the nail on the head with her column (“Lawmakers missing the point about illegal rentals,” Star Advertiser, May 3). Listen to your constituents, policy-makers.

I didn’t move to my agriculture- zoned land so I could live next door to cars coming and going at all hours, with illegal B&B renters complaining about the sounds of the country after the owners set it all up and left us to live with it.

I don’t know if the owners pay taxes, and I don’t care. I pay taxes and I expect the existing laws to be enforced.

Please, please do something to shut down these operations.
