It is amazing that President Donald Trump’s supporters still support him after dozens of broken promises. He has not even started building his beloved “wall” after railing that Mexico would pay for it. The Democrats even offered $25 billion and he inexplicably rejected it.
Among his prominent campaign promises is that he would rebuild America’s infrastructure, thereby creating millions of jobs, and bring home our troops from the Middle East. They have yet to be fulfilled.
Instead of focusing on his promises, he obsessively tried to undo much of President Barack Obama’s accomplishments, in particular the Affordable Care Act. Today’s booming economy is not of his doing but inherited as a rollover from his predecessor.
Trump’s only real achievement has been the huge tax cut for the wealthy. His affinity for despots, especially for Russian President Vladimir Putin, is curious at best since Russia is our most vaunted enemy.
Under the banner, “Make America Great Again,” Trump has fallen far short of his promises.
