I have been going to Queen’s Medical Center, POB 1, 2 and 3, three times a week for more than six months, and notice traffic problems there that need fixing.
A covered pedestrian overpass across Lusitana Street connecting POB 1 and POB 2 would make a safer crossing for patients.
Installing a traffic light at the hospital’s Punchbowl Street entrance would alleviate backups of cars entering and exiting. A good thing!
Traffic lights at Ward Avenue need to change, as eastbound via H-1 freeway requires crossing three lanes from Lusitana Street. Scary!
The intersection at Lusitana and Ward is congested and chaotic as drivers are crisscrossing lanes. Maddening!
My family and friends agree it’s stressful driving to Hawaii’s largest hospital. Sad!
