>> Sepiuta Holakeituai, a past club growth director for District 49 Toastmasters, has awarded distinguished Toastmaster Caron Lau the Club Growth Appreciation Award for her dedicated service for the 2018-2019 term. Lau is a Realtor as well as a member of Na Hoku Kai, Liliuokalani and Aloha Toastmasters Clubs.

Kenn Nishihira, an immediate past district director for District 49 Toastmasters, a nonprofit educational organization that empowers individuals to become more effective in communication and leadership, has awarded the following two members:

>> Sharla Sare as Division Director of the Year for 2018-2019 for her leadership, support, commitment and public relations among her fellow members. Sare owns and operates Aloha Baskets and Balloons Co. and has been featured all over the world.

>> Gerald Toyo­mura as an Area Director of the Year 2018-2019 for his leadership, support, commitment and public relations among his fellow members. Toyo­mura is a member of the City and County of Honolulu Toastmasters and has helped area clubs attain educational excellence in the distinguished club program.
