Statistics of players with Hawaii ties in professional baseball through Friday’s games. Players who are on the injured or suspended list and whose stats have not changed since last week are not listed.:
>> Kean Wong continued to bounce between Anaheim and Salt Lake City. The infielder was recalled by the Los Angeles Angels on Friday, less than two weeks after being optioned to the Salt Lake Bees, which followed a three-day stint with the big league club.
>> Rangers shortstop Isiah Kiner-Falefa was moved to the bottom of the batting order last week, but returned to the leadoff spot on Friday. The Mid-Pacific alum is hitting .261 and ranks fourth among MLB shortstops with 15 stolen bases.
>> ‘Iolani graduate Shane Sasaki made his season debut with the Tampa Bay Rays’ rookie league affiliate in the Florida Complex League on June 28 and has eight stolen bases in six games. He hit leadoff and swiped four bags against the FCL Orioles last Monday. He has at least one steal in each of the past six games.
