Woman arrested after assaulting son with glass shard in Kailua
Honolulu police arrested a 36-year-old woman after she allegedly assaulted her 15-year-old son with a glass shard in Kailua.
The alleged assault occurred at about 3:15 p.m. Thursday.
Police said the teen sustained a laceration to his left hand and was treated at a hospital for his injury.
Police were called and the mother was arrested on suspicion of second-degree assault.
