Availability of Hawaii COVID-19 quarantine facilities dwindling

                                The City and County of Honolulu took over operations of the Harbor Arms Hotel in Aiea on Jan. 1 as an isolation-quarantine facility. It has 30 units with 56 beds and has been 90% to 100% full, according to spokesman Tim Sakahara.

    The City and County of Honolulu took over operations of the Harbor Arms Hotel in Aiea on Jan. 1 as an isolation-quarantine facility. It has 30 units with 56 beds and has been 90% to 100% full, according to spokesman Tim Sakahara.

The availability of COVID-19 quarantine and isolation facilities has been drastically reduced since the state handed over the responsibility for providing them to the counties of Hawaii. Read more
