Bills banning flavored vaping products are debated

                                The Coalition for a Tobacco-Free Hawaii held a rally Monday for passage of a bill to ban flavored vaping products targeting youth. Punahou senior Zoey Duan of the coalition’s Youth Council and Kamehameha Schools senior Logan Lau sat with a display of donated slippers at the state Capitol’s front lawn which represented 21,000 keiki in Hawaii who will die prematurely from smoking-related causes. The slippers were to be donated afterward.
