Google to fund $1B for internet subsea cables

Plans to construct several new fiber-optic internet subsea cables that will improve Hawaii’s internet reliability and connectivity, were announced by Lt. Gov. Sylvia Luke and Google’s Asia Pacific Network Planning and Acquisition Director, Benji Robinson on Tuesday.
