1 lane reopens after tire blowout in town-bound Pali Highway tunnel
UPDATE: 7:40 a.m.
Honolulu police have reopened one lane after the pickup truck that was blocking both lanes of the town-bound Pali Tunnel has been moved to one side.
Motorists are advised to use caution in the area.

The Pali Highway in the town-bound direction has been closed this morning at the Pali Tunnels due to a tire blowout.
The pickup truck’s tire blew out inside the tunnel shortly before 7:15 a.m.

No serious injuries were immediately reported, but the highway was closed in the Honolulu-bound direction “due to hazardous conditions,” Honolulu police said.
