The medical examiner identified a Waianae man who died a the hospital after he was pulled from the water off a Waianae beach Monday afternoon.

Alex Hisom, 21, was found unresponsive at beach on Farrington Highway near Mohihi Street in Waianae at 2:30 p.m. Monday.

Paramedics treated and took Hisom, from Waianae, in critical condition to a hospital emergency room, where he died. 

Police said foul play is not suspected. An autopsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
